What it is
A small library for bedtime
A warm voice reads a short story while your child drifts off. There are lullabies too, and a sleep timer that fades everything out on its own.
It's for kids roughly 3 to 8, and for whoever's doing the tucking-in. For families who want a calm few minutes at bedtime — no ads, no bright screen in a dark room, no app working to keep everyone awake.
How it's different
Built to be put down
Most kids' apps are built to keep you watching. Otis is built to be switched off. It's done its job when the child's asleep and the phone's face-down on the nightstand.
- No ads. Ever. Nothing is sold, promoted, or upsold to your child.
- No third-party tracking or analytics. No data-collecting SDKs, no profiles, no cross-app tracking.
- No engagement mechanics. No streaks, badges, notifications, or rewards nudging “one more.”
- No autoplay-forever feed. Sessions have an end. When the story finishes, Otis stops.
- Offline & self-contained. Bundled audio, no streaming, no account, no network requests in normal use.
